Terms of service

These terms set out how we work together — from the quote to the day of the move. They are written to be read, not to trip you up. If anything is unclear, ask us before you book.

Quotes

A quote is based on the information you give us and, where we carry one out, a survey of the goods and access. It holds for the validity period stated on the written quote itself. If the load, the addresses or the access change materially before the move, we may need to revise it — we will always tell you why.

Booking & deposits

A move is confirmed once you accept the written quote and we agree a date. Where a deposit is asked for, it secures the booking and is set against the final balance. The deposit terms, including any refund window if you cancel, are stated in your booking confirmation.

Your responsibilities

Please make sure we can access both properties on the day, that parking or a permit bay is arranged where you have said you will handle it, and that anything especially valuable, hazardous or perishable is declared to us in advance. For a European move, you are responsible for giving us accurate inventory information so the customs paperwork is correct.

Our liability

We handle your belongings with care and carry appropriate cover for goods in transit and for the work we do. The limits of that cover, and how to make a claim, are set out in your booking documents. Any loss or damage must be reported to us within the claims window stated there so we can investigate properly.

Cancellations & changes

If you need to move your date or cancel, tell us as early as you can and we will do our best to accommodate it. Charges for late changes or cancellations, where they apply, are set out in your booking confirmation. If we ever have to change arrangements at our end, we will let you know promptly and work with you to put it right.

Payment

The balance is due as set out in your booking confirmation. We will always give you a clear final figure before the move, with no charges you have not seen and agreed.
